Papillon will be partnering with the Imibala Trust Somerset West to provide Coding Training in 2021 for impoverished children and youth from the 23 government schools in the Helderberg basin that Imibala Trust provide with extra tuition.
Papillon placed 8 brand new Notebooks (Laptops) in November 2020 at the Learner Advancement Centre, and organised software, in preparation for 2021.
“The focus of Imibala’s Learner Advancement Centre is to provide programmes that are complementary to the school curriculum, and add value to the children’s academic and social development. Programmes include Chess, Life Skills classes, Maths, Lego Serious Play, preparation for the World of Work (Smart Lead) and holiday tutorial sessions in the main academic subjects for grade 11 learners (Safe Study)”.
